Is this festival just for Gospel Church?

No, Gospel Church wants to host this festival as a blessing for all those who want to celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.

What is the purpose of the festival?

The primary purpose is the joyful, public worship of God through festival. This will spill over into secondary purposes of building up the Saints and testifying the gospel to sinners.

Can I come if I am not a Christian?

Yes, all are welcome to come taste and see what the kingdom of God is like. You will be expected to conduct yourself in line with the delightful law of Christ.

Does it cost money?

No, the entire festival is free. Tickets are required for the feast for planning purposes, but there is no cost. We do welcome donations of all sizes to help us put on this festival for free. Donations can be given at the Gospel Church Durango website or in person at Gospel Church on Saturday evening or Sunday morning.

Can I invite my friends?

Yes, the doors are thrown wide open, bring everyone.

How can our church get more involved?

A leader from your church can reach out to us with the contact information given above, and we would love to talk about how other churches can get involved in the festival.

What should I wear?

We suggest that you dress up for Good Friday worship. Casual dress is appropriate for the procession, softball, and street party, wear white for the procession. Dress to the nines for the feast and Concert/Dance. Dress up for Sunday worship. All of it should be festive, there is lots of freedom in how you apply these suggestions.

What if I am not good at dancing?

We can’t think of a better place to practice!
